Following the LMCs consultation in December last year relating to Salford and Trafford LMC Ltd and Stockport LMC merging we are  happy to share that we received very positive feedback and no objections were raised. As a result, the wheels are now in motion to progress bringing the two organisations together. 

The initial step is now complete, and we are registered with Companies house as Salford, Stockport and Trafford LMC Ltd. 

All other elements relating to governance will be completed within the next 8 weeks, during which time will be adopt the new organisational structure previously shared, and will have the Medical Director recruitment and the Medical officers and subcommittee elections completed by the end of March. 

We will write out in due course with an update. In the meantime, business continues as usual.
